JOLLY SCARECROW'S CHRISTMAS SURPRISE

I ran into my old newspaper editor JACK MURRAY from THE REPORTER NEWSPAPER a few weekends ago. I did the editorial cartoons for the paper for ten years. He told me about Diane Petro Losiewicz's childrens book JOLLY SCARECROW'S CHRISTMAS SURPRISE and thought it might lend itself to a RANKIN/BASS special. Diane lives in Palos Heights, Illinois and gave me a copy of her book, which is available at www.amazon.com and www.barnesandnoble.com . You may want to check this out for a holiday book for the kids! It is Diane's first book and she put alot of heart and warmth into it!
