My pal BUZZ!

FRANKIE, JR. was on BOOMERANG a moment ago! My good pal DICK BEALS is the voice of BUZZ CONROY in the cartoon! He also did the singing voice of ARRON in THE LITTLE DRUMMER BOY for RANKIN/BASS!

Here is an unpublished PAUL COKER RANKIN/BASS drawing from an unproduced special! Paul designed so many characters for RANKIN/BASS! As I look at this Snow woman...it is pouring rain here in Chicago!!!!

MARCO

This is a little known RANKIN/BASS film from 1973 starring DESI ARNAZ, JR. that has a wonderful ANIMAGIC sequence in it called "Peace Berries." Look for it on DVD from VCI. Romeo Muller makes a cameo and has some good BASS/LAWS songs in it!

FINALLY here!

These were a GREAT pick me up to a not so good day! I was hoping they would contain the opens and closings to the shows and they do! THE PETER POTOMUS SHOW was REALLY cool. The open was from a fair print BUT never saw the color version with the audio together and the close looks really good (re-mastered). It has Ricochet and Droop-a-long, so it was from the syndicated version BUT it looks AWESOME as does the QUICK DRAW McGRAW open/close! Still watching the discs BUT was glad to see THE PORKY PIG SHOW open and close. It was from a pretty damaged print BUT still great to have. Hopefully, there will be future volumes and full sets of these series!

AUTOGRAPH

I still have PAUL COKER, JR. autographed postcards with a FROSTY drawing he did for Christmas 2008. They are handsigned by RANKIN/BASS legend and one of the original MAD MAGAZINE artists! ON SALE now for $7 shipped PAYPAL Rickgoldsc@aol.com

Tom Margarites by Paul Coker, Jr.

TOM MARGARITES plays some lightning fast solos on some of my songs including "Modern World" on RICK GOLDSCHMIDT SINGS. He is also the subject of one of my new songs for DRAMA FREE called "Tom Margarites." This illustration was from an early version of a band painting that RANKIN/BASS designer PAUL COKER, JR. (MAD MAGAZINE) did of us!
