We go to SOUNDGARDEN shows for the music...and we weren't disappointed :) Others go to have a beer in each hand for the entire show and play air guitar and drums with a 1980's style mullet :) Some of the fans at the UIC reminded me of the red neck characters Dave Grohl and Jack Black play in one of the FOO FIGHTERS videos :) BLACK HOLE SUN, SUPERUNKNOWN and BLOW UP THE OUTSIDE WORLD were particularly good tonight.

I picked this up for Josh today! He has been waiting for it for a while... features performances by IGGY POP, DAVE GROHL, ANDREW STOCKDALE of WOLFMOTHER, FERGIE, OZZY OSBOURNE and others! Josh is influenced by Slash's guitar playing.
This is another pretty cool CD Josh picked up a few weeks ago. The ILLINOIS ENTERTAINER review below is pretty much on target.

A 20th Anniversary release of their first CD "Bleach" came out today, complete with a live performance from 2/9/90. We (THE STARVING ARTISTS) do the version of "About A Girl" that is on this CD.
LIVE AT READING came out today on CD and DVD!
I love this band and this release is Awesome! Especially the CD/DVD version. Their videos are Excellent!
