WINNIE THE POOH & FRIENDS by Bil Baird

I love the puppetry of Bil Baird! Just found his RARE hardcover book THE ART OF THE PUPPET on my book shelf :) This WINNIE THE POOH was part of Shirley Temple's STORYBOOK series and I have this episode on DVD. He later brought the puppets out again with Olga Marin.

Art Carney was very happy with the work he did with RANKIN/BASS PRODUCTIONS and we became friends in the later years of his life. He loved to watch all the early TV Productions he was involved with and my friend Gary Matheson set him up with many he had forgotten about.
