A FACEBOOK friend posted the grocery store picture c. 1960 below, because he thought the elephant displays in the background looked like they were from Rankin/Bass' The Island of Misfit toys. I knew I saw the elephant before and it was in my friend Warren Dotz's book MEET MR. PRODUCT :)
