Keeping the flame alive! My friend Dennis brought over my NEW Rankin/Bass Productions point of purchase display, for local shows last night! He built it and I came up with the concept some time ago. I told him it had to be Gold for Goldschmidt. He wasn't sure how that would look, but was happy with the end result. I decorated it with Tru-Tone LED bulbs, Rankin/Bass certificates of authenticity from Artovision 3D and Jorge Baeza's caricature of me. I will be at the Oak Lawn Library's Fan Fest next Saturday, the South Side Comic Book Show in June and the Wheaton all-night flea market in August! See you there with the Rankin/Bass library plus much more! #rankinbassproductions #OLPLFanFest #trutonebulbs #artovision #jorgebaeza #Saturday #zurkoproductions #southsidecomicbookshow Tru-Tone Bulbs Tru-Tone Custom Calls Artovision Oak Lawn Public Library

Get Ready! Woooohoooo! My first appearance of 2025 is a week from today, and I am bringing the goods! From my understanding, some of the Best of Oak Lawn will be there too, including restaurants. See you there for a Rankin/Bass Productions extravaganza! I will also reveal some news in the figure world, that we are expecting later this year! #OLPLFanFest

Remembering Iwao Takamoto...his birthday was April 19th. It was actually his centenial birthday! The stuff that came out of this Hanna-Barbera legend's pencil was Amazing! I have copies of many of his early H-B drawings signed, but most will remember him for designing Scooby Doo. #Iwaotakamoto
