A jack Davis piece from our book The Arthur Rankin, Jr. Scrapbook: The Birth of Animagic www.miserbros.com It was for a sequel to Rankin/Bass' Mad Monster Party. A short pilot was produced. I thought this was one of Jack's best pieces! C. 2014 Miser Bros Press/Rick Goldschmidt Archives

Who could forget Archie McDonald? It was fun getting the little balls in his eyes. I have an episode of the Funny Co. from around this time at their Hamburger U training facility. #mcdonalds #archiemcdonald #advertisingcharacter

The original king is pretty cool too! My friend Dennis still has a sleeve patch like this, from when he worked there years ago. #burgerking #advertisingcharacter

I am watching lots of my friend Ricou's work this weekend! He Co-created and directed Flipper for Ivan Tors and worked on all of his series! He directed the first Gentle Ben and even worked on the underwater stuff in Thunderball! A great talent at 90 years young!
