The late, great Shirley Temple was a big Rankin/Bass fan! In fact, Arthur Rankin, Sr. appeared in a few of her films. This is an Animagic figure from a storybook series Rankin/Bass Productions were developing with her from my book The Arthur Rankin, Jr. Scrapbook: the birth of animagic C. 2014 Miser Bros Press/Rick Goldschmidt Archives #shirleytempleblack #rankinbassproductions #christmasinjuly

I love writing about the Animagic technicians and animators in my books! It's sheer Animagic by Ichiro Komuro "pinchan", Tad Mochinaga, Kyoto Kita, Hiroshi Tabata, etc. #Animagic #christmasinjuly2020 #rankinbassproductions www.miserbros.com

Happy Birthday to Roger! He once asked to use a picture of me wearing his LIMITED EDITION shirt. The picture was of me in the studio with the Gas Giants. I was honored. We also talked at length about our Rickenbacker 12 strings. #rogermcguinn #legend #birthday #thebyrds
