I grew up in an absolutely wonderful Era! That is why I do what I do, to preserve history. I had the freedom to ride my bike many miles to buy baseball cards and Aurora models at the Alsip Certified and White Hen Pantry. I enjoyed baseball and playing outside until the street lights came on. Some in the media like to call what is going on now, the "new normal." It is not normal. I am glad to see some people are finally waking up. It doesn't have to be the end of an era. #memories

Rankin/Bass' Mad Monster Party will air May 22nd on TCM in a Rankin/Bass movie marathon! It was great appearing with Ricou Browning a few times in the last few years. He enjoyed the Creature in MMP! I would love to see a line of MMP masks in the hard plastic next 😁 #creaturefromtheblacklagoon

I got my 1964 General Electric Rankin/Bass Return to Oz bracelet, many years ago. It was one of the few collecribles Arthur Rankin hung on to. I helped Susan Morse (the singing voice for Dorothy) obtain one, before she passed away. I also became great friends with Susan Conway Mitchell, Dorothy's speaking voice, and she signed a bunch of the GE ads for me. #returntooz #rankinbassproductions #generalelectric #thewizardofoz

I enjoy the demos more than the finished versions and there is an extra song or two. I transferred to cd years ago. It was the first Rankin/Bass tv special. #returntooz
