Frosty the Snowman's 50th

Many people ask me, "Which is the best dvd of Frosty to buy?" This one right here! In writing my new book, I looked back on the Arthur Rankin introduction and forgot how many photos in that introduction I helped with! Arthur is also reading my first book at the beginning of the introduction and you can see it on the table next to him.

Like the other Rankin/Bass specials, Romeo Muller created the additional characters in the special and Paul Coker, Jr. did a beautiful job of designing them! The Frosty pencil test is also included on this dvd. It is sad that Frosty Returns was added, but you don't have to watch it. At any rate, this is far superior than any of the more recent releases!

Rankin/Bass designer Tony Peters signed this Bumble (A character which he co-created with Romeo Muller, Jr.) card with a Tee Pee. Why a Tee Pee? His initials were TP. He had a great sense of humor, just like Paul Coker, Jr.. I love Tony's designs of all the Rankin/Bass Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer TV Special characters, which Romeo Muller created!

Today is Ernie Kovacs Centennial! Gone but not forgotten!

The Centennial set by SHOUT is awesome! I watched the entire thing. I went back and watched my The Best of Ernie Kovacs too from PBS and that was wonderful too! The Medicine Man pilot was Awesome!

Then it is on to the Dupage County Fairgrounds to appear at the Wheaton All night flea market August 17th 3:00 PM until 3:00 AM. I will be appearing with Jerry Mathers and Tony Dow for the third time. We have become friends and I am

really looking forward to this one! I did well and met all kinds of great people at the last one!

I will also be doing the Haunted Halloween Flea Market October 19th from 3:00 pm until Midnight! This will be a Mad Monster Party? That you won't want to miss and you can come in costume! More guests to be announced!

I will be returning to the Chicago Pop Culture Con November 30th - December 1st at the Pheasant Run Resort with the cast of The Land of The Lost. This is also my third time appearing with my friends from that series! This is a two day weekend event that always starts the holiday season just right!
