Saturday

I had the strangest dream last night!  I entered the 1969 Sears wish book (specifically on page 351) and my new book arrived at the home there, along with many homes around the country for Christmas 2018!  I met my pals Dave Harms and Mike O'Reilley along the way too!  All the good people that ordered the book, were texting and emailing me about how much they liked it too!  Now that was some dream!!!  A real Christmas miracle  Thank You to all that ordered and for all the wonderful compliments!  Wes Garlatz, Matthew Clayton Mitchell Witten and I appreciate you all!!! Merry Christmas!  #christmas #searswishbook #rankinbass #themakingofsantaclausiscomintotownandthedaydreamer #poloronblowmolds #history #vintage #holidayseason #historian #biographer #official #santaclaus www.miserbros.com

Many, many Radio DJs have been asking me, who created the Island of Misfit toys, Hermey the Elf, Yukon Cornelius, etc. ?

The answer is always easy:   Romeo Muller, Jr., with an assist by Tony Peters.  Romeo added all of the characters we know and love and wrote the story that has lasted over fifty four years now!  He and Antony deserve all the credit for the television version by Rankin/Bass Productions.   If it were not for them, it would never have been as successful as it has become!

Our friend Katy Oss Meadows posted this today!

Christmas came early this year! New Mad Monster Party girls shirt and the AMAZING new book by Rankin/Bass historian Rick Goldschmidt. If you love all things Rankin/Bass as much as I do you should check out their store at MiserBros.com. This book is a true work of art!
