Batman appeared In Chicago for the first time on ABC TV at 6:30pm, opposite Bozo's Big Top on WGN TV.
It replaced The Adventures of Ozzie & Harriet on Wednesday nights and Shindig on Thursday nights.

Bing Crosby & David Bowie - "The Little Drummer Boy (Peace On Earth)"
I was just thinking of how this was really the last great
Christmas performance (Pre auto-tune). It first aired after we lost
many greats in 1977 including Bing Crosby, Elvis Presley, Groucho Marx,etc.
The closest I ever came to David Bowie, was performing at one of the small clubs he played at in the 1970's in Chicago known as Tutt's.
