BARBIE
Photo taken by my friend Jhym! He said these were already SOLD OUT at SDCC. Sounds like most of the BATMAN TV Stuff was way under-produced for the CON. Glad I am not there!
HALLMARK
Christopher Franchi posted this pic...I kind of like the sculpt..looks like they used the LIFE MAGAZINE cover as a reference.
FAMILY BAND: THE COWSILLS STORY
Finally got to watch the Documentary (which airs on SHOWTIME) of FAMILY BAND: THE COWSILLS STORY. Very interesting and a story that needed to be told. It isn't what I would call a happy ending or an upbeat film, especially in the second half of the doc (Similar to THE RAMONES doc) BUT it is very honest and lots of cool clips in it, from various shows that they appeared on. It turns out that the Cowsill father made some very bad decisions, that resulted in a short lived career.
MUNSTER, GO HOME on SVENGOOLIE ME TV tonight at 9pm!
from the MUNSTER, GO HOME press book...
In the early 1990's, I did a few pieces of MUNSTERS art for Al Lewis. He wanted to use some of it on placemats in his New York restaurant GRANDPA'S. We had some long phone conversations about Basketball, THE MUNSTERS, CAR 54, WHERE ARE YOU?, etc. A very interesting guy who is missed.
Look for THE ENCHANTED WORLD OF RANKIN/BASS: A PORTFOLIO around 10:30pm central time on SVENGOOLIE :)

HOLY BATMANIA! BATMAN 1966 DVD extras
My friend Jim Alexander was just asking me about this set on FACEBOOK. This is an AMAZING set from my friend Kevin Burns! It came out in 2000 and has everything you could possibly want from the BATMAN TV Series including the complete Lyle Wagner & Peter Dayell screen tests, Adam West and Burt Ward's complete screen test (worth the price of the set alone!), promos, trailers, re-mastered clips of the series for more recent TV syndication and more! It also has all of the A&E BIOGRAPHIES Kevin made. Some people may have thought this was like the old VHS release called BATMANIA that had clips from things...BUT this is the real deal! Kevin also did an AMAZING 2 disc set of THE MUNSTERS just like this! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
BATMAN 1966
There are some rumors floating around that the series may come on DVD/BLU RAY...appears to be just rumors so far. Chris Franchi (one of my FACEBOOK friends) did the art on the boxes...
