RANKIN/BASS' TV Special classics continue to glow and RANKIN/BASS' RUDOLPH THE RED-NOSED REINDEER is no exception (Which turns 50 in 2014).  We have some exciting things planned including some appearances with the original ANIMAGIC figures :)

General Electric Blender Commercial - Happy Song

Sounds just like the 1964 GE spots BUT Maury Laws says he didn't write the music...It is definitely the same singers as in the 1964 spots

Romeo Muller, Jr. "Father Christmas"

c. 1983 Craig McManus

One of Rankin/Bass writer ROMEO MULLER's cousins asked me to speak at a convention the week of July 23, 2014 of the Golden Glow of Christmas Past. The “Glow” is an international organization of collectors of pre-1966 antique and vintage Christmas ornaments, lights and decorations at the Westin in Lombard, IL for RUDOLPH's 50th  Going to try to make it...  We hope to display Romeo's two ANIMAGIC friends pictured here.

Just learned that my dear friend Gene Muller (Romeo's brother) passed away just after Christmas in 2009.  Gene was so helpful with my work and opened up Romeo's archives to me.  I went out to dinner with Gene when Arthur was honored at the MUSEUM OF TELEVISION & RADIO in New York.  A great guy and he will be missed.

RAY RAYNER

Ray was a legend in Chicago Television and here are just a few of the roles he played...

I spoke with my friend Bill Jackson (pictured here with Ray) yesterday :)

Since Ray was in the McDonald's commercial as Ronald, I thought I would celebrate his life in pictures :)
