Another RANKIN/BASS WB DVD on the schedule....

Get this....WARNER BROTHERS is going to release JACK FROST on DVD. FRONT ROW ENTERTAINMENT issued it some years back for $6 retail with the same print of the show. You could get it at the DOLLAR STORE for $1 last year with a GREAT cover by my friend PATRICK. The company they hired for the extras is going to do a SING-A-LONG. Who in their right mind would re-buy this DVD to get a SING-A-LONG? The only RANKIN/BASS DVD that WB has issued close to the right way has been THE YEAR WITHOUT A SANTA CLAUS and that is it.

SILVERHAWKS DVD box set

WARNER BROTHERS has a habit of hiring companies to do the extras for their DVD sets that don't have any extras. They contact me for some RANKIN/BASS extra material and when I ask for $ for my help....I never hear from them again. Can WB be that cheap? Are the companies they hire trying to keep all the $ for themselves? I have no idea. What I do know is the end product is usually not very good. Could have been much better if it was handled by the right companies and people that care about the RANKIN/BASS shows and actually have the material that the DVD sets need.
